This review is long overdue but couldn’t let the opportunity to share my deep gratitude for the amazing group of folks who helped us with our 911 claim pass by without acknowledging the wonderful service they have provided to us. I don’t live in NYC so my initial contact with Lian and Yichun were via email. I have dealt with a number of firms in the pass and I was very impressive with how prompt, responsive and dedicated they both were. Once we had a chance to meet face to face, they were very empathetic, understanding, caring and patience with us. They listen with empathy and caring that made me feel like I was talking to old friends. They carefully weight our options and explain the process of filing the claim and let us know their game plan as well as establish proper expectations. The entire process took a little over 2 years including probate. Every interaction thereafter have been prompt and responsive. Lian always kept us updated on the status of the claim as well as kept the whole process transparent. From time to time they will call or email to check on my elderly mom and send her holidays treats. They are so kind and thoughtful. My beloved mother passed away from a 911 related condition. I was going to file a 911 VCF claim on my own but it got too much to handle gathering all the documentations. I did a Google search and chose Pitta & Baione. The first thing I looked at was the legal staff bios. As an Asian American who was raised in Manhattan Chinatown, I was glad to see an Asian American lawyer on the team and decided to give the firm a call. Intake person took my info and put me in touch with a client relationship manager and a case manager to get my case started. I am currently working with Lian. Although I don’t need the interpretation services offered, I am glad to I am able to work with someone that understands my culture and understands my mixed emotions while I am still grieving. Lian explained to me the steps we need to take before submitting the claim. So far my experience with Pitta & Baione has been positive and professional.
