We are proud to share that Pitta & Baione LLP received the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the CPC Lunar New Year Gala 2026. This recognition reflects something we hold close as a firm: a genuine investment in the communities where we live and work. It is an honor we accept with gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose.
About the Recognition
The CPC Lunar New Year Gala
The CPC Lunar New Year Gala 2026 is an annual celebration hosted by the Chinese-American Planning Council, one of New York City’s most respected social service organizations. The event brings together community leaders, civic partners, and supporters to honor those who contribute to a more equitable city. We were proud to be among those recognized at this year’s gathering.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Award
The Corporate Social Responsibility Award recognizes organizations that demonstrate meaningful commitment to community well-being beyond their professional work. It is given to those whose engagement reflects consistent action rather than gesture. Receiving this award is a reminder that the work we do outside our offices matters just as much as the work we do inside them.
What This Honor Means to Us
For our firm, this award is a reflection of the people who make up Pitta & Baione, LLP. Our attorneys and staff bring the same care and dedication to community involvement that they bring to their clients. We are grateful to CPC for this recognition, and for the work they do every day on behalf of New York’s most vulnerable residents.
Our Commitment to the Community
Civic Engagement as a Core Value
Civic engagement has always been part of how we operate as a firm. We believe that lawyers have a responsibility to contribute to the communities affected by the law, and not only to interpret and apply it. Our belief guides how we conduct ourselves, both professionally and personally.
Supporting CPC and Its Mission
The Chinese-American Planning Council serves over 60,000 New Yorkers annually through social services, education, and workforce development programs. We have been and continue to be proud supporters of CPC’s mission, and to stand alongside the organization which does such life-changing and consequential work. Our relationship with CPC reflects our broader commitment to support organizations that create impactful and hopefully permanent change in traditional underserved communities.
A Culture of Service
At Pitta & Baione, LLP, service to others is in our DNA, and is something our team fosters, as it is part of who we are professionally and personally. We encourage everyone at our firm to become actively involved with local support organizations, causes, and civic efforts that matter to them. That culture of involvement is what makes moments like this, and the recognition of our firm by CPC, especially meaningful and rewarding.
Connect with Our Firm
We are grateful to CPC, and to the broader New York City community for this recognition. If you would like to learn more about our law firm, or to discuss how we may be able to help you, we welcome you to reach out to us directly.
